Obituary

Earl “Al” Lachman, 97, Holocaust Survivor, beloved husband of the late Judy; loving father of Joseph (Helene) and Ronald (the late Mary Ann); proud grandfather of Eric, Jordan, Marissa, Jenna, Benjamin (Kate), Julia (Marc Zemel) and Henry Lachman and great grandfather of Maya Lachman Zemel; treasured and respected uncle, cousin and friend of many. Al was a Co- founder and Honorary Vice President of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center. Chapel service Tuesday, November 3, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, www.ilholocaustmuseum.org.
